Sophia Stuart is an award-winning digital strategist, writer and speaker (BBC Radio 4, Nasdaq, Nokia World, O’Reilly, Screen Director’s Guild of Ireland). As a journalist, she covers artificial intelligence, brain-machine interfaces, robots, DARPA, NASA and US Army Cyber Command, and has been published in ELLE China, Esquire Latino, Harper’s Bazaar, Singularity Hub and Ziff Davis PCMag. As a ghostwriter and copywriter for agencies on their client assignments she has written for Louise Galvin, Pacific Gas & Electric, Society for Science & the Public and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Previously (2006 – 2013), Sophia was an executive at Hearst, (publisher of brands including Cosmopolitan), as head of mobile for Hearst USA, then promoted to head of digital for the international division with strategy oversight in almost 100 countries, including China and Korea. During this time she was voted one of the “Top 21 Social Media Superstars” (Min Online) and her group won many awards (including: Asian Publishing Award, Media Vanguard, Webby). Sophia is also the author of How to Stay Sane in a Crazy World (Hay House, 2014), which was featured in O, The Oprah MagazineCosmopolitan, Four Seasons Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar Australia, and ELLE China.
